Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager/Sr. Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for a group of companies in Kuala Lumpur. You will prepare audited accounts, budgets, forecasts, and consolidated statements while liaising with auditors, secretaries, and tax agents.

The role requires strong MS Office skills and knowledge of AutoCount, with at least three years in a related field. You will also oversee treasury and banking relations, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or higher in Finance/Accountancy.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and knowledge in AutoCount accounting system.
• At least 3 years of working experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for a group of companies in a timely, accurate manner.
• Prepare audited accounts and liaise with external auditors on audit matters.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; assist in consolidation and annual reports.
• Maintain records, documents and filing to support accounting entries.
• Liaise with company secretary, internal auditors, tax agent and regulators.
• Manage treasury, monitor cash flows and banking facilities.
• Liaise with bankers regarding financial facilities and compliance.

ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER/SR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Handle the full set of accounts for a group of companies involving monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closings in an accurate and timely manner.

To prepare the audited account and liaise with the external auditors relating to the audit matters

To prepare the budgets and forecast;

To assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, group audited financial statements, annual report and group annual budget

To ensure proper maintenance of records, documents, and filing to support all accounting entries;

To liaise with company secretary, internal auditors, tax agent, statutory body and any other relevant parties on related matters;

To handle the treasury function in monitoring the company cash flows position, and placement and withdrawal of funds;

To liaise with the bankers and monitor the Company's financial facilities held at various financial institutions

To monitor and ensure compliance with the rules & regulation governed by the relevant regulatory body for the money lending license;

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge in AutoCount accounting system will be an added advantage;
