Based in Georgetown, Penang, this hands-on role reports to senior management and collaborates with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and company secretaries. The role focuses on group reporting, consolidation, and SGX-related compliance, with no people management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
• Intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries experience.
• Ability to analyse financial results and provide reporting insights.
• ACCA/CPA/CA qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidated financial statements.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries, and consolidation adjustments.

Advance Your Career Beyond Traditional Accounting

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to gain exposure in Group Reporting, Consolidation, SGX-related compliance, and regional finance operations?

This role offers the opportunity to work on Group-level financial reporting for multiple entities, supporting offshore and regional finance activities while being based in Georgetown Penang. You will work closely with senior management, auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and corporate secretaries on key reporting and compliance matters.

Please note that this is a hands-on Individual Contributor (Sole Contributor) role with no direct people management responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

Group Reporting & Consolidation

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidated financial statements.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries, and consolidation adjustments.
• Analyse financial results and provide reporting insights to management.
• Maintain consolidation schedules and reporting templates.

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Handle full sets of accounts for assigned investment holding entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management accounts and supporting analyses.

Cash Flow & Treasury Support

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding plans.
• Monitor cash positions and support treasury-related activities.

Audit, Compliance & Corporate Reporting

• Coordinate annual audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support XBRL filing and regulatory submissions.
• Assist in SGX reporting and compliance-related activities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and company secretaries.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5-8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Strong experience in Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting
• Experience handling Full Sets of Accounts and Month-End Closing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple reporting deadlines
• ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage
