Job summary

The role requires a chemical/ manufacturing engineering background, 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong leadership to motivate cross-functional teams. A focus on continuous improvement and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Factory Manager and oversee daily factory and production operations to ensure targets are met.
• Manage production planning, manpower allocation, material availability, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, R&D, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Finance teams.
• Monitor output, wastage, downtime, and costs; drive cost effectiveness.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of chemicals and materials.
• Lead and coach production personnel with discipline and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
• Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EHS compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Prepare production reports, KPI analyses, and updates to management.
