Job summary

DayOne invites skilled engineers to join our growing data infrastructure team. You will oversee installation, operation and maintenance of datacentre MEP systems, driving reliability and performance across mechanical, electrical, fire suppression and security infrastructure.

You will lead shift teams, plan preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. Fresh graduates welcome to apply for growth in a dynamic global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 1+ year experience in facilities management/engineering/building services preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of data center mechanical infrastructure including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of all MEP systems within the datacentres.
• Ensure all MEP infrastructure operates reliably and efficiently (mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, security).
• Coordinate with shift teams to ensure 24/7 coverage and seamless handovers.
• Plan and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities per manufacturer and company standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and upgrade projects with minimal operational impact.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental, health & safety regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for audits and certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CriticalSystemManagement:

• Overseetheinstallation,operation,andmaintenanceofallMEPsystemswithinthedatacentres.
• EnsureallMEPinfrastructure,includingmechanical,electrical,andfiresuppressionsystems,andsecuritysystemsoperatereliablyandefficiently.

TeamLeadership:

• Coordinatewithshiftteamstoensureseamless24/7coverageandeffectivehandoversbetweenshifts.
• Planandoverseepreventativeandcorrectivemaintenanceactivities,ensuringallequipmentandsystemsareservicedaccordingtomanufacturerandcompanystandards.

CANDIDATEREQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinmechanical/electrical/buildingservicesengineeringorarelatedfield.
• Minimumof1yearofexperienceinfacilitiesmanagement/engineering/buildingservices.Freshgraduatesarealsowelcomedtoapply.
• Knowledgeofdatacentremechanicalinfrastructure,includingHVAC,chillers,coolingtowers,pumpsandcompressors.
