Role Purpose
The Assistant Event Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of brand‑led events and activations that enhance consumer engagement, strengthen brand presence, and drive retail performance. Working closely with Marketing and Brand teams, this role ensures seamless delivery of events from concept to completion while maintaining high standards of brand experience and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Support the Event/Marketing Manager in planning and executing brand events, product launches, retail activations, and consumer engagement experiences.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor management, event materials, setup, and on‑site execution.
- Ensure all events are delivered in line with brand guidelines, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Manage event run‑downs, briefing documents, and on‑ground coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with agencies, contractors, production houses, and suppliers for quotations, briefing, and execution follow‑up.
- Ensure clear communication of event requirements and deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Support negotiation and coordination to ensure optimal value within allocated budgets.
Event Operations & On‑Ground Support
- Provide on‑site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting any issues in real time.
- Manage event setup, guest registration, crowd flow, and overall attendee experience.
- Coordinate manpower, schedules, and event materials to ensure flawless execution.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Support the marketing team in integrating event activities with broader campaign plans and brand calendars.
- Assist in the creation and execution of event communications, invitations, and promotional materials.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and premium brand experience across all touchpoints.
Reporting & Administration
- Assist in post‑event reporting, including performance tracking, feedback collection, and insights reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of event budgets, invoices, and vendor records.
- Support administrative tasks related to event planning and execution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or brand activations.
- Experience within the luxury, lifestyle, electronics, premium consumer brand, and retail industry is an advantage.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands‑on, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
