Job summary

Infineon Technologies Ipoh is seeking an experienced technician to own preventive maintenance for test equipment, calibration, and conversion activities. You will handle escalations from shift technicians and support disposition of low-yield lots to ensure on-time shipments.

You will work with Product Engineering and Test Development teams to improve KPIs such as OEE and yield, while assisting engineers with buy-off activities and data collection.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related engineering course.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Semiconductor ATE maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and calibration.
• Proficient in reading and writing English technical documents and in team collaboration.
• Able to write reports and share key learning with technicians.
• Proficient in MS Office and good interpersonal skills.
• Experience with 5S and Safety Principal culture in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM/maintenance, tester calibration and conversions independently to ensure equipment stability.

• Provide basic disposition for low yield affecting shipments and assist closure of line disturbances; interface with Product Engineering, Test Development Engineering, and Subcon Engineering.

• Assist engineers to conduct machine buy-off, new conversion kits buy-off and finish data collection.

Primary owner for test equipment PM/Conversion/next level trouble shooting to ensure test equipment stability and Quality.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform Test equipment PM/Tester Calibration/Conversion independently,
• Receive escalation from shift technician for next level machine trouble shooting.
• Provide basic support on disposition on low test yield affecting shipments and delivery a) Supports closure of line disturbance, low yield lots and maverick issues ; b) Interface with Product Engineering, Test Development Engineering, and Subcon Engineering
• Co-working with engineer to deliver critical equipment KPI: such as OEE, Yield, etc..
• Assist engineer to conduct machine buy off, new conversion kits buyoff and finish data collection.

• Minimum 5 years of experience on Semiconductor ATE & handler maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and calibration.
• Good at reading/writing English technical documents and team collaboration.

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good interpersonal skill in managing/interacting with internal and external partners.
