Job summary

ZI LIAN (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Malacca City, Malaysia, is seeking an Assistant Engineer cum Warehouse & Forklift Driver to support both engineering and warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering diploma or certificate and forklift experience, with a valid licence.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence/certificate is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of engineering, warehouse and material handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Assistant Engineer cum Warehouse & Forklift Driver

Assist engineers in equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Support daily engineering and production-related activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Assist with checking, receiving, storing, and issuing materials, parts, and equipment.

Maintain proper warehouse arrangement and ensure stock is stored safely and systematically.

Operate forklift for loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the warehouse and company premises.

Conduct basic inspection and ensure the forklift is operated safely and properly.

Assist with stock counting, inventory checking, and updating warehouse records.

Ensure all materials are handled properly to prevent damage or loss.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and good housekeeping in the warehouse and work areas.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management or supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

Forklift driving experience and a valid forklift licence/certificate is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of engineering, warehouse, and material handling procedures.

Able to operate basic tools and equipment.

Physically fit and able to perform warehouse and material-handling duties.
