Job summary

PwC Malaysia is seeking an Associate for our Asset and Wealth Management Accounting Services team. The role involves ensuring accurate general ledger processing, preparing statutory financial statements, and liaising with clients on day-to-day accounting matters.

You will work in a dynamic environment, apply PwC Professional behaviors, and contribute to timely deliverables while developing technical accounting expertise in IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or final year student.
• At least 1 year of accounting compliance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform General ledger data entry.
• Code of Accounts Payables/Receivables invoices.
• Prepare cheque payments and expense claim reimbursements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients on day-to-day accounting matters and queries.
• Manage client deliverables to ensure agreed timelines are met.
