Job summary

PwC Malaysia is seeking a motivated accountant to join their Accounting Solution team within Tax services. The role involves managing accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Accounting or a related field, along with at least one year of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential. This position is located in Malaysia and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience preferred, fresh graduates accepted.
• Familiar with accounting standards like MFRS and MPERS.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and perform month end closing.
• Prepare management reports and manage AP, AR, FA, and GL.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information.
• Prepare statutory financial statements.
• Liaison with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Excellent teamwork and client handling skills

Familiarity with relevant accounting software

Education

Recognized University Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification
