Job summary

LAVU TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an AS400 developer to analyze, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test applications across the full lifecycle. You will handle requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specifications, coding, and code reviews.

You will collaborate with senior developers and system architects on secure, compliant end-to-end solutions, performing unit testing, SIT/UAT support, deployment, and post-implementation documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience as AS400 developer.
• Experience with RPGLE, CLLE, and ALDON.
• Experienced developer with good experience in system integration/interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test applications
• Perform requirement analysis, mapping design, and technical specification
• Programming and code review
• Job scheduling and perform unit test and SIT
• Support UAT users and deploy to production
• Provide post-implementation support and technical documentation
• Work on specific projects and support the Application Delivery Manager in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end
• Perform coding, scripting, and build new systems where necessary
• Provide environment support during SIT/UAT for new system build-up
• Ensure work is adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover
• Work with senior developers and system architects in formulating technical solutions that satisfy security, regulatory, and architectural standards
