Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced AS/400 Developer with banking domain expertise (Payments and Loans) to develop, enhance, and support core banking applications on IBM i (AS/400).

The role requires hands-on RPG/RPGLE/CLP/SQLRPGLE skills, DB2/400, and knowledge of Silverlake Core Banking; you will participate in analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of AS/400 development experience required.
• Strong skills in RPG, RPGLE, CLP, SQLRPGLE and DB2.
• Banking domain experience in Payments and Loans is mandatory.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, MQ, and batch processing.
• Understanding of SDLC and production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG/RPGLE, CL, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
• Support Payments, Remittance, Fund Transfer, and Loan Management systems.
• Perform application enhancements, production support, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Support incident resolution and end-of-day banking processes.
