Job summary

tawai trading sdn bhd based in Tuaran, Sabah, is seeking an experienced Lorry Driver (Trailer) for a full-time role. You will operate articulated lorries, ensure timely deliveries, and uphold safety standards across all journeys.

Ideal candidates hold a valid trailer endorsement and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a commercial logistics setting. The role requires independent work with close coordination to the dispatch team.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with trailer endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years' proven experience operating articulated lorries (trailers).
• Comprehensive knowledge of road traffic regulations, weight restrictions and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate articulated lorries (trailers) safely and professionally in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Transport goods to designated destinations within scheduled timeframes
• Conduct pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements
• Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records and documentation as required by regulatory standards
• Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring compliance with weight regulations and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with HQ staff and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Adhere strictly to speed limits, traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle interior and exterior
• Report accidents, incidents or traffic violations immediately to management
• Support the company's commitment to excellent customer service by representing the business professionally
