Job summary

Motul Malaysia is expanding its direct sales team for Motorcycle Oil (MCO) and seeks a commercially driven Area Sales Executive to grow revenue across Malaysia. You will manage direct retail accounts, dealers and workshops, and drive expansion with the National Sales Manager.

This role emphasizes market outreach, customer development and strong collaboration with Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver against targets while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience in automotive lubricants, motorcycle or related industries preferred.
• Strong field sales, territory management and retail network development.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and grow business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia or local dialects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow direct retail accounts, workshops, dealers and other relevant sales channels within the assigned territory.
• Drive sales growth and achieve assigned revenue, volume and distribution targets.
• Identify and develop new customers, business opportunities and sales channels to strengthen Motul’s presence in the Motorcycle Oil (MCO) category.
• Work closely with the National Sales Manager to support territory planning, network expansion and customer development.
• Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities and understand market needs.
