Job summary

ARKITEK NURINA MATNOR in Betong, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Inspector of Works to supervise construction sites for a 24-month engagement. The role requires senior-level site oversight, strong organizational skills, and the ability to liaise with consultants and contractors to ensure works meet approved plans and safety standards.

The successful candidate will maintain daily site diaries, review method statements, and coordinate across trades while working under pressure to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum five to ten years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Familiar with work method statements, inspections and monitoring trades.
• Able to liaise effectively with Consultants and Contractors.
• Independent and self-motivated with excellent organization and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction sites and ensure works comply with plans and method statements.
• Access and verify work method statements, perform inspections, and monitor different trades.
• Maintain daily records and site diaries documenting progress and issues.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to coordinate activities and approvals.

Job description
