Job summary

Cityscape Architect in Perai, Penang, is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join our team and develop architectural drawings for multiple project stages. You will work closely with our architects to prepare documentation for design development, authority submissions, and construction, across residential and commercial developments.

The role focuses on producing precise AutoCAD drawings, translating concepts into detailed plans, and coordinating with structural and M&E consultants.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an architectural consultancy or related industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction details and materials.
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare technical drawings accurately.
• Willingness to travel and to work independently or in a team.

Job description

Cityscape Architect is looking for an Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in Perai, Penang.

You will work closely with our architects and project team in preparing architectural drawings and documentation for various stages of projects, including design development, authority submissions, tender documentation and construction. Our projects include residential and commercial developments, masterplanning and other development projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare and develop architectural drawings using AutoCAD.

Translate design concepts and sketches into detailed architectural drawings.

Assist in preparing drawings for authority submissions.

Prepare architectural working drawings, details and construction documentation.

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and M&E consultants.

Revise and update drawings based on architects' instructions and consultants' comments.

Ensure drawings are accurate, properly coordinated and comply with relevant standards and requirements.

Assist with site measurements, inspections and other project-related tasks when required.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an architectural consultancy or related industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD. Familiarity with SketchUp is an advantage.
