Job summary

Randstad Malaysia partners with leading architectural practices in the region to grow their design teams. The role assists in initial design concepts, site analyses, massing studies and feasibility reports, and produces 2D drawings and 3D models.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Architecture, up to 1 year placement, proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, familiarity with Revit/BIM/Rhino, and strong visual communication using Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with a cohesive portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (RIBA/ARB Part 1, LAM Part 1, or equivalent).
• Graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of practical placement/internship experience in an architectural studio.
• Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of initial design concepts, site analyses, massing studies, and feasibility reports.
• Producing 2D technical drawings, 3D digital models, architectural visualisations, and physical presentation models.
• Supporting the team in preparing presentation decks, statutory submission packages, and design review boards.
• Contributing to schematic design through to detailed design and tender documentation.
• Coordinating with project consultants, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure design intent and documentation align.
• Maintaining up-to-date project archives, drawings registers, and presentation files.
