Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks an Associate, OTC in Malaysia to support regional divisions and gain deep knowledge of OTC processes, regulatory needs, and local requirements.

Responsibilities include collecting AR, resolving holds with the commercial team, reviewing master data, and preparing AR reports for month-end.

Requirements: BA in Business or Accounting; 2–3 years credit/OTC experience; strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint; excellent English; Malaysia residency.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Business or Accounting.
• 2–3 years of credit experience inclusive of all aspects of credit management.
• Knowledge of OTC processes.
• Experience in a captive SSC environment preferred.
• Strong ability to interact with internal and external parties at various levels.
• Attentive to detail with a propensity for continuous improvement.
• Reasonable skill level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers for prompt collection of AR balances.
• Liaise with commercial team to resolve issues relating to collection and on-hold orders.
• Review and approve customer master data and audit trails.
• Review and release orders on-hold due to credit limits or overdue AR.
• Prepare AR reports and contribute to monthly close and forecasting.
