Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant Manager to oversee billing, collections, onboarding support, termination handling, and receivables management across our payment services and enterprise solutions in Malaysia.

In this role you will drive accurate invoicing, robust cash collection, timely reporting, and strong controls while leading the AR team to ensure service excellence and cash flow optimisation for the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations.
• Experience in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; reporting tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing for corporate sales (project, subscription, and delivery-based invoicing).
• Support onboarding by setting up billing terms, pricing, and invoicing configurations.
• Supervise termination processes including final billing and contract closure.
• Handle refund processes, including overpayments and merchant settlements.
• Oversee intercompany billing, reconciliation, and balance settlement.
• Review and resolve billing disputes with Sales and Operations teams.
• Prepare AR aging reports, cash collection updates, and management reports.
• Ensure internal controls, SST compliance, e-invoicing, and proper tax treatment; drive process improvements.
• Lead and develop the AR team with clear accountability and performance management.
