Job summary

Energizer Malaysia seeks an Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to support China OEM and APAC operations in a shared services environment. You will manage credit control, cash applications in SAP, and monthly reconciliations with local teams.

The role requires 2–5 years in AR, an accounting degree, and accuracy with strong reconciliation skills. Mandarin fluency is an advantage; based in Kuala Lumpur with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting and part qualification in ACCA/CPA/CIMA.
• 2 to 5 years of experience of Accounts Receivables function.
• Competency in handling day to day operational tasks assigned and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Fluency in Mandarin and prior experience in Shared Services environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit applications, master data creation, and customer setup in SAP; regularly review credit limits and past due positions.
• Record daily collections from Bank accounts into AR ledger; perform timely reconciliations with local teams and Key Accounts Manager.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Key Accounts teams to collect overdue balances and ensure timely collections.
• Conduct monthly AR reconciliation across systems to ensure balances match; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with credit control policies for sales orders, credit blocks, and new terms; update terms in SAP as needed.
• Provide weekly AR aging follow-up with local commercial team for China OEM; prepare monthly AR scorecards.
• Assist in quarterly or ad hoc bad debt accruals and related reporting; support internal/external audits.
