Job summary

• Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB, C/C++) for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in RF electromagnetic simulations and antenna design evaluations.

Job description

We are seeking a high-achieving, driven Junior Application Engineer (Electrical Engineering) to join our team. In this role, you will bridge technical expertise with customer engagement through RF simulation, measurement, consultation, and technical training. You will work with clients and internal engineering teams to solve complex electromagnetic (EM) and RF challenges, validate designs using advanced lab equipment, and deliver technical presentations and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in running electromagnetic simulations, antenna design evaluations, and board-level layouts.
• Perform RF and EMC/EMI measurements in the lab using benchtop equipment to validate designs and simulation models.
• Work alongside senior engineers to provide technical consulting, analyze client requirements, and recommend tailored RF/EM solutions.
• Prepare and deliver hands-on technical workshops, product demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and cross-functional teams.
• Develop clear application notes, technical reports, user guides, and reference designs.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electronic Engineering with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Highly motivated, fast learner with a proactive attitude toward mastering new technologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with key RF test instruments: Spectrum Analyzers (SA), Signal Generators (SG), Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
• Experience with CST Studio Suite (or equivalent EM simulation software) or Altium Designer (or PCB CAD tools) is a strong advantage.
• Fundamental knowledge of EMC/EMI measurement principles and RF design concepts.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++) for data analysis or task automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to deliver technical training and consult with external clients.
