Job summary

Weatherford seeks an experienced Asia-Pacific Trade Compliance Manager to lead the regional trade compliance programme, ensuring adherence to export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations across Asia. You will partner with business leaders, supply chain, engineering, and legal teams to mitigate risks while enabling compliant business growth.

You will implement global compliance policies, conduct risk assessments, manage licensing, and drive training and awareness across regional operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law, International Trade, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
8–10+ years' experience in trade compliance, customs, export controls, or sanctions compliance.
Significant experience supporting multinational operations in Asia.
Strong knowledge of export controls, sanctions, customs regulations, origin rules and licensing.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Asia-Pacific trade compliance programme across Weatherford's operations.
Conduct risk assessments, investigations, and ensure licensing and regulatory requirements are met.
Promote a culture of compliance and manage cross-functional training across regions.
