Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an Asia Pacific Trade Compliance Manager to lead the regional program, ensuring adherence to export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations across Asia. The role partners with business leaders and cross-functional teams to manage risks while enabling compliant growth.

The incumbent will implement global policies, conduct risk assessments, manage licensing, and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization, reporting to the regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, International Trade, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of trade compliance experience across Asia.
• Strong knowledge of export controls, sanctions, and customs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asia-Pacific trade compliance programme.
• Advise on export controls, licensing obligations, and sanctions.
• Oversee customs compliance activities and HS classifications.
• Develop and deliver regional training and awareness.
• Coordinate with internal and external audits.
