The role focuses on scaling the indigenous book through broker and client development, and partnering with regional teams to implement the APAC Surety strategy. The position emphasizes strategic leadership, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across underwriting, operations, and distribution channels to achieve sustainable profitability

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Malaysia Surety business and support APAC hub development.
• Oversee underwriting within delegated authority and ensure timely referrals.
• Drive profitable P&L and governance, including risk and pricing discipline.
• Develop relationships with agents, brokers, clients, and banks.
• Digitize current Malaysia book and support regional operations.
• Contribute to APAC Surety strategic planning and projects.
