Job summary

Hitachi Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced APAC Supplier Quality & HSE Manager to strengthen supplier quality governance across Asia Pacific.

You will lead supplier qualification, audits, and performance improvement initiatives while ensuring HSE compliance. Collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project teams to drive supplier excellence, mitigate risk, and support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in supplier quality, supplier development or related quality roles.
• Proven experience leading supplier audits, qualification and CAPA programs.
• Strong knowledge of RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP and audit management.
• Experience with electrical equipment, control panels or related products is preferred.
• English fluency in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and onboarding activities with SCM and audits.
• Coordinate PPAP qualification and product approvals with cross-functional teams.
• Drive supplier quality management including RCA, containment, and preventive actions.
• Establish KPIs and monitor supplier quality/performance across APAC.
• Plan and conduct risk-based supplier audits in the APAC region.
• Oversee supplier HSE practices and compliance during qualification and audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project teams to resolve quality issues.
