Job summary

Micron Memory Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an APAC Senior/Assistant General Counsel for Global Operations – Construction and Infrastructure to partner with project teams on major capital programs. You will lead end-to-end legal support, draft and negotiate EPC/EPCM contracts, advise on risk and disputes, manage external counsel, and ensure compliance across APAC jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of relevant legal experience in construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects (EPC/EPCM preferred).
• Experience advising on complex industrial or technical projects with live-project issues (delays, disputes).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and commercial judgement for diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or equivalent frameworks in APAC construction law practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end legal support for major capital projects across APAC, from development to closeout.
• Draft and negotiate complex EPC/EPCM, design-build, construction management, procurement contracts.
• Advise on project risks, delay exposure, change orders, performance security, and disputes.
