Job summary

AIG Malaysia seeks an Operations Lead for APAC to partner with global peers in delivering security monitoring services. You will provide technical leadership on how events are analyzed, standards applied, and workflows that enable reliable operations.

You will drive maturity and continuous improvement with peers, coordinate analysts across shifts, and help govern SIEM, SOAR, and AI platforms while measuring performance with data-driven metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cyber security, with 5+ years in operations or incident response.
• Experience in complex, global organizations is preferred.
• Strong IT and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global Operational Leads to ensure delivery quality and consistency.
• Define analytic, investigative, and escalation standards with peers.
• Partner with Incident Response to define clear escalation pathways.
• Govern the use of SIEM, SOAR, and AI platforms with service leads.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities to improve speed and accuracy.
• Coordinate analysts across shifts to maintain global coverage.
• Lead improvements using data trends and feedback loops.
• Use metrics to demonstrate value and drive prioritization.
• Interface with Security Operations Enablement and resolver teams for smooth integration.
• Represent the service in governance forums and align with peer leads.
