Job summary

Axonect in Malaysia seeks a Lead to serve as the senior technical authority across security monitoring, incident response and platform engineering, directing a combined IR, SOC and PE team and setting technical direction.

You will own end-to-end incident handling, drive detections and data ingestion for clients, build automation, mentor engineers and ensure delivery against SLAs, with hands-on investigation and strong communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security monitoring, IR and digital forensics.
• Experience leading P1/P2 incidents and multiple teams.
• Experience in SIEM platform engineering and detections.
• Formal degree in IT/Cybersecurity; professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-severity incidents end-to-end, coordinating IR responders.
• Own detection lifecycle and platform engineering onboarding for clients.
• Mentor and coach teams, ensuring SLAs and quality standards.
• Develop and refine IR SOPs, playbooks and escalation workflows.
• Drive automation, SOAR playbooks and threat intelligence integration.
