Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Physical Security Standards & Training Specialist to drive the APAC security training program. You will train site personnel, verify competency, and ensure sites meet global standards across multiple countries.

You will work with regional teams and contracted providers, maintain training records, and help implement the corporate security framework across APAC with a focus on compliance and auditable evidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in security assurance, compliance, or audits.
• Experience delivering on-site security training.
• Experience with multiple APAC sites and regional operations.
• Exposure to customer audit regimes and physical security operations.
• ISO 27001/22301 Internal Lead Auditor or PSP/CPP certification desirable.
• Able to work independently across shifting priorities with clear ownership.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site training to APAC security personnel on EdgeConneX standards, systems and processes.
• Conduct site inductions, awareness sessions and exercises; assess competency against framework.
• Maintain regional training records and completion reporting in LMS; escalate competency gaps.
• Coordinate with contracted security providers to ensure training standards are met.
• Plan and conduct control assessments and site audits; record results consistently.
