Job summary

Kardex is seeking a motivated Finance Manager to be based in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, to lead the finance function for Kardex SEA (Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand). The role focuses on budgeting, planning, financial and management reporting, and partnering with business leaders to drive profitability and cash flow.

You will oversee daily accounting, tax compliance, internal controls, month-end close, and provide local management with timely, actionable reports to support strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Successful University degree or professional qualification in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 5-7 years professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Competent in financial software (SAP B1 and S4Hana, Cognos, etc).
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, accounting, controlling & reporting, in a global functional and matrix organization.
• Change and project management skills will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting, Finance, Admin and Payroll functions in Kardex SEA - Remstar and Kardex AutoStore Business Units, partnering with cross function teams in Sales, Marketing and Operation functions.
• Coordinate and provide Finance support across SEA that has AutoStore presence - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and future set up.
• Develop and control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
• Serve as a business partner to the other functions (New Business and Life Cycle Service) to drive business initiatives, growth, profitability, cost optimization, productivity and cash generation.
• Closely collaborate with Regional Finance and HR Team, Kardex AutoStore Team.
