Job summary

NV5 Limited seeks a detail oriented Junior Paralegal / Legal Contracts Coordinator to support our regional organization. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will assist with contract review, risk assessment, and contract lifecycle management across APAC, under the supervision of our Hong Kong paralegal and in compliance with local and international requirements.

You will help maintain corporate records, assist with director and shareholder documentation, and conduct legal and regulatory research for

Qualifications

Law degree or paralegal qualification is required.
Min 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role, especially with international or cross-border transactions in APAC.
Fluency in English and strong written/verbal communication essential.

Responsibilities

Contract Review & Administration: Review client contracts, NDAs, confidentiality agreements, sub-consultancy and service agreements; identify key commercial terms; prepare review summaries and risk assessments.
Contract Lifecycle Management: Ensure executed agreements are filed, monitor expiry dates, renewals, and key obligations; coordinate execution and signature collection.
Legal & Corporate Administration: Maintain corporate records and entity information; assist with director/shareholder documentation and statutory filings; organize governance records.
Research & Compliance Support: Conduct legal/regulatory research; gather information for employment, commercial, compliance, and governance matters; prepare briefing notes.
