Kaspersky in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an APAC Consumer Channel Intern to support our consumer business on the ground. You will assist in channel marketing activities, partner outreach and MDF tracking, while coordinating data from multiple markets.

The role emphasizes cross-country collaboration, English communication, and hands-on exposure to CRM tools and content design. This internship offers growth through practical experience in a global cybersecurity leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's student or fresh graduate pursuing studies.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to prepare reports and presentations.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC Channel & Partner marketing activities.
• Track product activation and monitor progress by country/product/band/term.
• Analyze margins, pricing and product portfolios as needed.
• Assist in MDF management, budgets and partner reporting.
• Support recruitment of reseller partners for e-channel initiatives.
• Prepare newsletters and invitations for selected resellers/retailers.
• Coordinate partner events and sourcing of premiums when required.

We are looking for APAC Consumer Channel Intern based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who will support our consumer business on the ground.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in APAC Channel & Partner marketing activities.

Partners Business Analysis

• Product Activation tracking & monitoring
• Activation by country, by product, by band, by term
• Monthly by month trend, YoY trend
• Analysis for Margins, Product Pricing, Product Portfolios (As needed basis)
• Distributor margins, reseller margins

Support Channel/ E-Channel Expansion (supporting Regional / local sales manager)

• Strategize plan to recruit more reseller partners onto e-channel/ channel
• Research & identifying targeted resellers/retailers (selected countries)
• Newsletter or email invitation to selected resellers/retailers

Support Partner MDF Management & Monitoring

• Quarterly budget update & consolidated report (Actual vs. Budget)
• Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from MDF & non-MDF marketing campaigns
• Verifying MDF activities (i.e. Approved vs. Actual claimed)
• Ensuring partners adhering to MDF guidelines & proper documentation& proof

Support Partner Incentive Program (CBA Partners)

• Monthly update of Partners’ progress
• Monthly communication emails
• Monthly tracking & monitoring partners’ revenue (Total & monthly average)
• Quarterly consolidated report on progress & achievement

Channel/ Partner Event Support (as needed)

• Premiums or gift sourcing
• Ad hoc project

Skills & Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor's and Master's students and fresh graduates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with CRM software and content & design tools.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Self-motivated, positive, proactive, organized, and disciplined.
• Able to communicate and work with stakeholders from different countries and cultures.
