Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an experienced engineering and project management professional to lead CAPEX projects and engineering initiatives across APAC. The candidate should have extensive experience in capital equipment, large-scale EPC environments and a track record in regulated industries such as chemical, pharma or semiconductor.

You will build and lead high-performing project teams, drive cost and schedule control, and ensure compliance with GMP, DG and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Career track-record of +10 years in capital equipment and large-scale projects.
• Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or semiconductor environments preferred.
• GMP, DG or other regulated environments experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing project teams.
• Experience in a global/multinational corporate setting.
• Deep understanding of value and supply chain management in industrial sectors.
• University degree or higher in mechanical or chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC CAPEX projects with budget, schedule and regulatory adherence.
• Drive concept development, make-or-buy decisions and contract control.
• Support annual APAC CAPEX budget and expenditure proposals.
• Lead technical reviews and interface with the CTE Community.
• Standardize project management tools, templates and processes.
• Identify cost and time gaps with stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Provide technical expertise to operations for equipment performance and maintenance strategy.
• Define technical standards and share within APAC technical community.
• Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to ensure/license to operate topics.
