Description

• Manage the accounts payable and GL process, including invoice verification and payment processing and also when needed, AR.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Maintain and update vendor records for accuracy and compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in the accounts payable function.

Profile

A successful AP Specialist should have:

• At least 8 years' of experience in AP and GL, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
