Private Advertiser seeks a hands-on Amazon advertising specialist to own campaigns across the US, Canada, Australia and Germany. You will design architectures, manage bids and budgets, and defend decisions with data-driven insights.
Ideal candidate has 4+ years in Amazon PPC, deep knowledge of Sponsored Products/Brands/Display, and a solid grasp of margins and break-even analysis. You will test creatively, automate where possible, and report clearly.
You will own Amazon advertising across four marketplaces: US, Canada, Australia and Germany. This is a hands-on, numbers-driven role for someone who thinks in unit economics rather than vanity metrics, and who can defend a decision with the data behind it. You will manage the full Amazon advertising portfolio including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video and Sponsored Display.
Own the full Amazon advertising portfolio across US, Canada, Australia and Germany — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video and Sponsored Display
Design campaign architecture from scratch: segmentation logic, match-type structure, keyword harvesting and negation, budget allocation across the funnel
Manage bids and budgets against contribution profit, not just ACOS
Run structured tests on creative, targeting, placement modifiers and landing content, and reach defensible conclusions about what actually moved the needle
Work with bulk operations files for large-scale campaign changes, and with rule-based automation platforms
Support new product launches with an advertising plan that gets to organic rank without burning the launch budget
Build and maintain reporting that tells us what happened and why — search term performance, placement analysis, cannibalisation between campaigns, incrementality of branded spend
Coordinate with operations so that advertising and inventory decisions are made together, not in isolation
Work within documented processes and reporting cadence, and keep your own SOPs current as campaigns and tooling evolve
Minimum 4 years of hands-on Amazon PPC experience managing substantial monthly spend, ideally across multiple marketplaces
Deep working knowledge of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display — including where each actually earns its budget
Fluency in the economics: ACOS, TACOS, contribution margin, break-even ACOS, and why optimising to a single blended target is usually wrong
Solid grasp of P&L and COGS — landed unit cost, Amazon referral and FBA fees, storage and aged inventory surcharges, returns and refunds — and how each one moves the true profitability of a SKU
Comfort working to documented SOPs: following an established process accurately and consistently, flagging where it breaks rather than quietly working around it, and documenting your own workflows
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, lookups, and comfort building your own analysis rather than waiting for a dashboard
Experience with bulk file operations and campaign automation tools
The analytical instinct to distinguish signal from noise, and the discipline to wait for statistical significance before acting
Clear written English — you will need to explain your reasoning to people who will question it
