Job summary

Primal Impact Sdn Bhd is seeking skilled HVAC professionals to install, commission and test air conditioning systems including Split, Cassette and VRF/VRV units. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt response to emergency breakdowns to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience, a vocational diploma/certificate in HVAC or related engineering field, and strong knowledge of electrical wiring and refrigeration cycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in air conditioning and HVAC servicing/installation.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration cycles, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Highly responsible, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and has a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect and test air conditioning systems (Split, Cassette, VRF/VRV, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, chemical cleaning and troubleshooting of HVAC units.
• Diagnose defects, replace parts and refill refrigerant gas during repairs.
• Respond to emergency breakdown requests promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate servicing reports and daily work schedules.
• Ensure all works comply with safety standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, and testing of air conditioning systems (Split units, Cassette units, VRF/VRV, etc.).

Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, chemical cleaning, and troubleshooting of faulty HVAC units.

Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects, replace defective parts, and refill refrigerant gas.

Emergency Support: Respond to emergency breakdown service requests promptly and professionally to ensure high client satisfaction.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of servicing reports and daily work schedules.

Safety: Ensure all works comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in air conditioning and HVAC servicing/installation.

Education: Certified vocational diploma/certificate in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is a strong advantage (e.g., SKM, Certificate, or Diploma).

Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration cycles, and troubleshooting techniques.

Soft Skills: Highly responsible, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possesses a strong problem-solving mindset.
