Job summary

Arvato Systems Malaysia is seeking an AIP Intern in Software Quality Assurance to work on IT projects in the media domain. You will review requirements, design and execute test plans, and collaborate with developers to verify fixes under Agile processes.

The role exposes you to REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and databases with both manual and test automation opportunities, supported by mentorship and learning resources throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Be an undergraduate or postgraduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.
• CGPA 3.2 or above.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases from requirements and user stories.
• Review and validate requirements and specifications.
• Document results and suggest improvements for product quality.
• Collaborate with developers for bug verification and regression testing.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies and participate in daily scrums.

Job Description

• Work in interesting IT projects mainly in media department with exposure to various platforms with efficient testing services
• Reviews and validates requirements and functional specifications.
• Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization.
• Documents results, offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality.
• Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
• Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.
• Delivers testing efforts across project and tasks under tight deadlines efficiently.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies incorporated in the team.
• Exposure to AI tools and efficient usage of the same in implementing test services
• Strongly integrate with cross teams and be flexible to participate in both Manual as well as Test Automation based on project requirements.
• Must: Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
• Must: Experience with web services (REST, SOAP, Postman). Confident with JSON & XML structures
• Must: Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL), Create simple queries
• Must: Strong know how on, Traceability Matrix and right mapping of business requirements into test scenarios
• Must: Know how on Test process and Test designing
• Must: Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing Agile Environment
• Must: Knowledge and practical experience with one or more test automation tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Micro Focus UFT etc.)
• Must: Basic knowledge with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub workflows, Azure DevOps)
• Must: Excellent Communication Skills, Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
• Must: A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
• Good to have: Knowledge in Azure devops and other test management tools
• Good To have: JAVA basic knowledge: Confident in aspects of OOP
• Good To have: Efficient application of GenAI and Agentic AI in day to day work
• Good to have: ISTQB certificate(s)Good to have: Practical experience in API and UI automation
• Learn about the technology and how it works.
• Understand and contribute towards the assigned project/ areas of learning.
• Be involved in the technical implementation of the assigned project/ areas of learning.
• Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

What Must You Have:

• Be an Undergraduate or Postgraduate who is in the final semester of your current Diploma/ Degree/ Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of CGPA 3.2 and above.
• An excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• A strong team collaborative spirit with a growth mindset.
