Precision Control Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an intern to support our AI-based vision inspection system development at our HQ in Shah Alam. The intern will assist in setting up jigs for training, contribute to inspection coding, and help ensure high-quality datasets and training runs.

This role is ideal for students with an interest in computer vision, machine learning, or industrial automation. You will work with Python and OpenCV in a learn-by-doing environment, with mentorship from senior

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields with exposure to ML or CV.
• Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming languages and vision libraries such as OpenCV is a plus.
• Interest in machine learning, computer vision, or industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Data Annotation & Labeling: categorize and mask defects in the AISSENS environment.
• Dataset Management: curate and balance Good vs. NG image sets and maintain objectivity.
• Training Parameter Monitoring: track real-time training telemetry and progress, flag issues.
• Version Documentation: log hyperparameter settings and dataset iterations; maintain auditable records.
