Job summary
IPENET Solutions Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an AI Vision Engineer to implement AI-powered smart surveillance for retail. You will integrate AI Vision with CCTV/IP cameras, IoT devices, and enterprise systems to enable seamless data connectivity and intelligent monitoring.
Responsibilities include configuring and deploying AI analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting edge deployments, and delivering training and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of relevant AI Vision experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Knowledge of ML/DL concepts.
- Experience with image processing and video analytics.
- Linux environments and cloud platforms a plus.
- Experience integrating AI with CCTV/IoT systems valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Integrate AI Vision with CCTV, IP cameras, IoT and enterprise systems.
- Configure, deploy and optimize AI solutions in dashboards.
- Collaborate with networking, cybersecurity and software teams.
- Support Edge AI deployments and real-time analytics.
- Participate in design, POC, implementation, testing and commissioning.
- Conduct site assessments and gather customer requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and UAT reports.
- Provide troubleshooting for deployed AI Vision systems.
- Monitor performance and optimize models for accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver technical training to teams and customers when required.
