Job summary

techstreet seeks a Senior AI Solutions Engineer (Team Lead) to drive end-to-end delivery of production-ready AI solutions powered by LLMs, RAG and agent-based workflows. You will own solution architecture, guide hands-on delivery, and mentor a team across multiple customer engagements.

The role combines hands-on development with leadership, setting engineering standards, ensuring security and timeliness, and turning engagements into reusable capabilities for scaling across customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/AI-related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on software/AI delivery experience.
• Experience leading delivery or mentoring engineers (customer-facing).
• Strong Python and software-engineering fundamentals.
• Familiar with APIs, databases, backend development and system integration.
• Proficient with cloud platforms, Docker, Git, CI/CD and monitoring.
• Knowledge of LLM, RAG and agent-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into scalable AI architectures and delivery plans.
• Own the technical design of AI solutions — knowledge bases, RAG pipelines, agent/workflow automation, authentication and system integration.
• Select models, frameworks and configurations based on quality, latency, cost, security and business requirements.
• Design modular, reusable AI capabilities across multiple customers and use cases.
• Lead delivery from proof-of-concept to production with quality, security and timeliness.
• Mentor and review the work of engineers; set engineering standards and best practices.
• Establish AI evaluation, automated testing, logging and monitoring; optimise prompts and workflows.
• Act as senior technical lead in customer discussions and workshops.
• Oversee integration with customer systems — APIs, databases, messaging channels and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet data privacy, access-control, explainability and audit requirements.
