Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Solution Delivery Engineer to bring AI products into live customer environments across POCs, pilots, and deployments. This hands-on, individual-contributor role emphasizes integration, deployment, customer enablement, and technical troubleshooting.

You will work directly with customers and internal Product/R&D teams, using AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor in daily workflows. Travel across Malaysia and ASEAN may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise software delivery, solution implementation, or system integration.
• Hands-on with SQL, REST APIs, Python/scripting, log analysis, and Linux/cloud environments.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical projects, including scoping and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable with imperfect data and IT environments, finding practical solutions.
• Familiar with AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor; willing to adopt them.

Responsibilities

• POC & Pilot Delivery: Define scope, data requirements, timelines, and responsibilities with Sales and Product. Execute POCs and pilots across AI+Energy and AI+Education products, driving them to documented outcomes.
• Data Integration: Assess customer data availability and quality, and connect data through APIs, databases, file exchange, or agreed export mechanisms from systems such as SCADA, EMS, inverter monitoring platforms, and enterprise IT systems. Maintain data mappings, validation checks, and integration documentation.
• Deployment & Configuration: Deploy and configure cloud or customer-hosted environments, manage upgrades and configuration baselines, and ensure deployments meet agreed security, data protection, and access-control requirements.
• Customer Enablement & Support: Prepare training and user documentation, conduct onboarding sessions, provide first-line technical support, and troubleshoot issues with R&D where required.
• Product Feedback: Capture data issues, usability gaps, localization needs, and feature requests from customer deployments. Translate them into structured input for Product and R&D, and validate fixes in customer environments.
• Delivery Improvement: Develop reusable runbooks, checklists, templates, and estimation baselines to improve the efficiency and consistency of future deployments.

The ASEAN AI Innovation Centre is the overseas R&D hub of our AI Business Group, localizing mature AI products from China and building new AI products for Malaysia and broader ASEAN markets, with a focus on energy and education.

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

WHAT YOU MUST BRING

• 5+ years in enterprise software delivery, solution implementation, technical consulting, or system integration.


• Hands-on with SQL, REST APIs, Python/basic scripting, log analysis, and Linux/cloud environments.


• Experience delivering customer-facing technical projects, including scoping, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and acceptance.


• Comfortable working with imperfect data and IT environments and finding practical solutions.


• Familiar with AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, or willing to adopt them.


• Strong English communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.


• Willingness to travel across Malaysia and occasionally ASEAN.

PREFERRED

• Energy / industrial systems: SCADA, EMS, solar PV, BESS, power forecasting, or related platforms.


• Enterprise solutions: SaaS, data platforms, AI, or industrial digitalization.


• Experience with POCs, pilots, or tender projects.


• Exposure to data protection / compliance such as Malaysia PDPA.

Not a product development or people-management role. ML model development and production feature coding are handled by the engineering team.
