Job summary

DHL IT Services seeks an AI Platform Software Engineer within Platform Engineering to help build and enhance the internal AI Agentic Platform. You will develop, configure, monitor, verify, and maintain AI hosting tooling and agents, contributing to service and product ownership.

Expect work with Java, Python, React, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Google GKE, and Apigee Gateway, collaborating across regions. Strong English and agile practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software engineering with DevOps and deployment
• CI/CD proficiency and scripting experience
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with AI agent development or related fields
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE/OpenShift) and monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus/Loki

Responsibilities

• Platform development from idea to deployment.
• Platform maintenance including patching and bug fixing; run and support.
• Collaborate across regions and teams; communicate effectively.
• Work with cloud services (Google Cloud), Kubernetes, containers, and networking concepts.
• Engage in hosting/developing development tools and monitoring systems.
