Job summary

Arvato Systems Malaysia is seeking an AI Operations Engineer to develop, integrate, and operate AI-based products for internal and customer workflows. The role aims to automate recurring tasks and deliver digital products based on large language models and modern automation platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, data science, or equivalent with software experience.
• Experience building and operating production-grade automation solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms (preferably n8n).
• Hands-on with large language models and generative AI including Gemma or Qwen.
• Knowledge of LiteLLM gateway or proxy solutions.
• Basic Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability.
• Knowledge of data protection and secure development.
• Good English; German is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and customer processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Design and develop AI-powered workflows, agents, and backend services.
• Implement automation with platforms like n8n and integrate LLMs, APIs, databases.
• Develop PoCs and transition to production-ready AI solutions.
• Operate and monitor AI models, ensuring secure, scalable deployments.
• Collaborate with product, IT, data protection and security teams.
• Document architectures, interfaces, and procedures.
