Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing partner, is seeking an AI/ML engineer in Penang to develop and maintain AI/GenAI solutions for manufacturing and business use cases. The role involves building applications with AWS Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, and modern ML frameworks, and collaborating with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, AIML or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of working experience.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AI/ML, GenAI, and intelligent automation solutions for manufacturing and business use cases.
Build AI applications using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, and workflow orchestration platforms.
Design and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and backend services for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Collaborate with data engineers, MLOps engineers, software developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Support deployment, monitoring, testing, and documentation of AI platforms and applications.
