Job summary

MIT Academy Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced AI Trainer to design, deliver, and continuously improve practical AI training programmes for students, working professionals, corporate clients, and industry partners.

The role requires hands-on training on Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI agents, machine learning, and automation, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and guide real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in AI, CS, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant AI, ML, data science, or technical training experience.
• Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or demonstrations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI APIs and system integration.
• Commitment to responsible and ethical AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and online AI training with hands-on exercises.
• Develop training materials, exercises, and assessments.
• Train participants on Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI agents, ML, and automation.
• Guide participants through practical AI projects and real-world use cases.
• Keep content updated with current AI technologies.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of AI technologies, generative AI, machine learning, automation, and AI productivity tools, together with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and conduct hands-on practical training.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom, online, and hands-on AI training
• Develop training materials, practical exercises, and assessments
• Train participants on Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI agents, machine learning, and automation
• Guide participants in practical AI projects and industry use cases
• Keep training content updated with current AI technologies

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, data science, software development, AI solutions, technical training, or a related area
• Experience conducting technical training, workshops, demonstrations, or presentations is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models
• Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering
• Strong understanding of AI Agents and Workflow Automation
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals

In January 2021, MIT Academy was selected for Artificial Intelligence For SMEs (AI4S) Programme by Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in collaboration with Intel Malaysia and administered by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) to support MIT Academy’s Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4WRD journey.

With our strong affiliation with key industry associations, the Ministry of Education had appointed MIT Academy as the 1st Private Technical College in 2012 offering the Malaysian Vocational Diploma programme for our PT3 graduate students for a 4-year engineering diploma course.

From year 2015 - 2017, MIT Academy was appointed by Omron, Bosch Rexroth, Fanuc, SMC, Mazak, Autodesk, Carey Training and America Welding Society as Licensed Training Centre, Licensed Technology Partner and Authorised Training Centre (ATC) to conduct technology courses for corporate trainees.

In 2019, the company has built MITstem International School which is the 1st STEM school in Malaysia providing a combination of Academic IGCSE and STEM curriculum to gear our students for the 21st century technological challenges.

Beginning 2023, MIT Academy has setup the latest MITMetaverse Innovation Training Centre to cater to the professional development of working adults and fresh graduates.
