Job summary

CardBiz Group is seeking a detail-oriented QA tester to join our Malaysia team in Petaling Jaya. You will help design and execute test scenarios across web and mobile products, ensuring end-to-end coverage with careful defect reporting and traceability to requirements.

The role emphasizes strong analytical thinking, English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing to improve accuracy and efficiency. On-site work is expected with standard hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Diploma in CS/SE/IT or related field.
Understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, severity & priority, regression & SDLC.
Ability to write clear, reproducible defect reports.
Good written/spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Familiarity with AI assistants and verifying their outputs.

Responsibilities

Review requirements, user stories and designs to raise ambiguities before development.
Design test scenarios and cases covering functional, negative, boundary and end-to-end conditions.
Prepare and maintain test data including edge cases and realistic volumes.
Contribute to test plans with scope, entry/exit criteria, and risk assessment.
Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases for coverage.
