Job summary

Razorpay Curlec, Kuala Lumpur-based, is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with product teams to apply DevOps practices across the lifecycle.

You will prototype tools, design automated, scalable processes (IaC with Terraform), automate operations, handle incidents, and contribute to AI-powered automation for DevOps, including monitoring and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in building AI agents/agentic workflows for DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools (Puppet/Chef/Ansible).
• Ability to script (Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Golang, etc.).
• Troubleshooting and system engineering in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, logging and monitoring stacks; IaC with Terraform.
• Knowledge of AWS networking and operating infra at banks is a plus.
• GitHub projects or open-source contributions are a plus.
• Experience in product companies and backend programming is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the cloud infra environments.
• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
• Collaborate with application teams to apply DevOps practices in the development lifecycle.
• Prototype new tools and conduct proofs of concept for new technologies.
• Design repeatable, automated, and scalable processes (Infrastructure as Code) and tooling to improve efficiency and quality.
• Automate and streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot outages and provide operational support.
• Engage in incident handling with post-mortems and knowledge sharing.
• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered agents for DevOps operations including infra management, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
