Qualifications

As an AI Developer, you will contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions that improve finance processes and user experiences across Siemens Energy. Working alongside experienced data scientists, developers, and business experts, you will gain hands‑on experience with modern AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Microsoft Copilot Studio, Snowflake Cortex AI, APIs, and cloud‑based data platforms.

You will contribute to the development of AI agents, analytics solutions, and business applications while building expertise in software engineering, data engineering, and Enterprise AI technologies. As you grow, you will take increasing responsibility for solution components and actively participate in delivering innovative Finance Digitalization initiatives.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop AI-powered solutions and AI agents using company‑approved platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Snowflake Cortex AI, and other enterprise AI technologies.
• Contribute to the implementation of LLM‑based applications supporting finance processes such as reporting, forecasting, reconciliation, contract management, document processing, knowledge retrieval, and analytics.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders, business analysts, and senior team members to translate business requirements into AI‑enabled features and solutions.
• Develop and enhance data pipelines using SQL and Python, primarily within Snowflake.
• Support the integration of AI solutions with internal and external systems through APIs and data services.
• Build interactive Streamlit applications and dashboards to enhance user experience and drive business adoption.
• Contribute to backend development activities, including APIs, data pipelines, and AI workflow implementations.
• Support testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation activities for deployed solutions.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas to improve solutions and user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Data Scientist, Data Product Analyst, Project Manager, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and modern development practices.
• Exposure to Snowflake, cloud data platforms, APIs, Git, and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with Streamlit, dashboards, or application development is a plus.
• Ability to write maintainable, scalable, and well‑documented code.
• Understanding of LLM concepts, including prompting, embeddings, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI through academic projects, research, internships, thesis work, hackathons, or personal projects.
• Interest in enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to business and finance stakeholders.
• Curiosity, learning agility, and passion for emerging AI technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross‑functional environment.
• Exposure to Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, or SAP environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI principles.
