Digital Way Group Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI-powered tools, including chatbots and document processing solutions, using LLMs and APIs such as OpenAI and others.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with automation platforms (n8n, Make or Zapier) and AI/automation portfolio is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Own transport and able to work independently and learn new AI tech.

Design, develop and deploy AI-powered tools such as chatbots, AI assistants, document processing tools and AI agents, using LLMs and APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini.

Automate repetitive business processes such as data entry, reporting, customer communication and content creation by connecting AI tools with existing systems, spreadsheets, databases and third-party platforms.

Gather requirements from the director and internal teams, understand their daily challenges, and turn them into practical technical solutions.

Test, monitor and improve AI solutions so they are accurate, reliable and easy to use, and keep proper documentation of code, systems and workflows.

Prepare simple user guides and train staff to use AI tools effectively, making sure company data and confidential information are handled securely.

Keep up to date with the latest AI technologies and recommend new tools that can benefit the company, and perform other technical and IT duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Fresh graduates are especially encouraged to apply, and internship or work experience in AI, software development or automation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Make or Zapier), databases or cloud platforms, and a portfolio, GitHub profile or final year project in AI or automation, are an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and able to explain technical ideas in simple terms to non-technical colleagues.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Responsible, self-disciplined and curious, able to work independently, keen to learn new AI technologies, and must have your own transport.
