Job summary
Procter & Gamble in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Automation Specialist to innovate IT operations by automating data processes, consolidating data sources into a single source of truth, and turning insights into actionable business decisions that drive measurable results.
You will gain hands-on experience translating complex results into simple conclusions, influencing business strategy for retail and brand teams across the region.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in IT Operations & Automation or similar roles.
- Expert in Data Manipulation/Transformation using Excel, PowerBI or other similar tools.
- Keen to take on AI related projects.
- Hands-on experience in process automation and workflow design.
- Knowledge on Gen AI or Agentic AI is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite for effective teamwork and communications.
Responsibilities
- Master Data Management & Transformation: Go-to person for country master data maintenance, data accuracy & integrity through the effective use of Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
- IT Operations & Governance: Manage country-level IT operations, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and service excellence; oversee incidents, changes, and IT service processes aligned with ITIL best practices; handle vendor and internal stakeholder management with clear communication and SLA performance.
- Process Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify manual processes and convert them into automated workflows using tools; lead project initiatives to modernize workflows and improve internal work efficiency; develop and maintain SOPs to standardize and innovate daily BAU operations.
