We are looking for an AI Data Operations Supervisor to lead AI data production and quality management in Malaysia. This role will translate technical specifications from the U.S. R&D and product teams into executable workflows and supervise two AI Data Operations Associates.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain annotation and validation guidelines, quality rules, workflows, and acceptance criteria based on technical specifications.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor delivery progress for two AI Data Operations Associates.

Conduct sampling inspections, reviews, anomaly identification, error classification, and secondary validation for image, video, and spatial data.

Track accuracy, error rates, rework rates, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Identify edge cases and ambiguous rules, prepare structured feedback, and confirm resolutions with U.S. technical teams.

Participate in JOYAD advertising-placement quality checks and work involving physical-AI video or spatial data, model-assisted annotation, and human-in-the-loop validation.

Lead onboarding, training, sample-library development, error-case documentation, and quality-control checklist maintenance.

Ensure data security, access control, confidentiality, and project-document retention.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred; a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

2–4 years of experience in data annotation, AI data operations, data quality, computer-vision data, or similar roles.

Ability to understand complex rules and translate them into clear standard operating procedures.

Strong attention to detail, consistency, quality awareness, and process discipline.

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with basic statistical-analysis capability.

Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Experience in task assignment, feedback, training, and small-team management.
